2. すみません。水をください。- すみません。みずをください。- sumimasen. mizu o kudasai. Excuse me. Can I have some water?
3. あの女の人は学生です - あのおんなのひとはがくせいです - ano onna no hito wa gakusei desu - That woman is a student
4. 私は先生ではありません - わたしはせんせいではありません - watashi wa sensei dewa arimasen - I am not the instructor
5. 金田さんは大学の先生です - かねださんはだいがくのせんせいです - Kaneda-san wa daigaku no sensei desu - Mr. Kaneda is a university teacher
6. あの女子学生は21です - あのじょしがくせいはにじゅういちです - Ano joshigakusei wa nijuu-ichi desu - That girl student is 21 years old
7. 私の生年月日は1960年3月11日です - わたしのせいねんがっぴはせんきゅうひゃくろくじうねんさんがつじゅういちかです - watashi no seinengappi wa sen kyuuhyaku rokujuu nen san gatsu juuichi ka desu - My date of birth is the 11th of March 1960

Questions - Each has a date followed by what day of the week is it? (Example: February 2 is what day of the week?) To answer the question you would add desu to the end of the day of the week.

3. 火曜日です - かようびです - kayoubi desu - It is Tuesday
